Quick post to affirm that I have survived finals week.
Now that I have a break from school and have spent a week doing almost nothing in an effort (or lack of effort) to recuperate, there are once again obligations that demand my attention: one being my journal, two being my work, and three being the membership drive for the Staff Association at work. Work only requires that I show up on time and keep distractions at bay--that I can do. For the membership drive I have to draft a series of emails to drum up interest and explain the direction the SA is taking this year. There is also a traditional soup luncheon that I have to organize as part of the membership drive.
Christmas activities are also high up on the todo list. Yesterday I built a small database in Access to organize my address book and to help make the Christmas card chore easier in the future.
There has been little creative activity over the past month, so no new fiction to post.
